Our daughter joined Maryland Twisters 2 years ago and it has been the best decision we have ever made. Cheer is at the core of Camila’s overall health and well-being. She is excelling academically because cheerleading is teaching her about time-management and persistence. It is also keeping her balanced and grounded. Her MDT coaches have challenged her physically and mentally during the past two seasons, and our daughter is stronger for it. Her coaches take the time to understand how each athlete learns. They set higher expectations to develop them as individuals through work ethic, integrity and teamwork. Their personal investment, support and extra efforts towards the athletes, do not go unnoticed. At MDT, they also know how to have FUN! We have made timeless memories and laughed A LOT! This is the first time we have been part of a gym like this were its not just about developing cheerleading skills, its about developing the individual for what lays ahead.
